CIB Marine Bancshares, Inc. ("CIB Marine") is a bank holding company with its principal executive offices in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, a suburb of Milwaukee.

CIB Marine was originally incorporated in the State of Illinois in 1985 as Sidney Bancorporation, Inc., a one-bank holding company headquartered in Sidney, Illinois. In September 1987, a group of investors acquired Sidney Bancorporation and subsequently changed its name to Central Illinois Bancorp, Inc. On August 27, 1999, Central Illinois Bancorp reincorporated as a Wisconsin corporation and changed its name to CIB Marine Bancshares, Inc.

CIB Marine owns and operates CIB Marine Bank, which serves communities throughout Central Illinois; Indianapolis, Indiana; Milwaukee, Wisconsin; and Scottsdale, Arizona through its 17 full-service banking offices.  CIB Marine Bank operates under the name “Central Illinois Bank, a branch of CIB Marine Bank” in its central Illinois markets, and “Marine Bank, a branch of CIB Marine Bank” in its Arizona, Indiana and Wisconsin markets.

CIB Marine Bank offers a full array of traditional banking services, including a broad range of loan products, such as commercial loans, commercial real estate loans, commercial and residential construction loans, one-to-four family residential real estate loans, consumer loans, and commercial and standby letters of credit; acceptance of demand, savings and time deposits; commercial paper and repurchase agreements; and other banking services.
